It is a good thing to take a break from taking a break sometimes and actually getting a shot in. I was catching up with some friends at the Grey Dog cafe one weekend and taking my order was Princess Ariel! [real name Jess]. I could not get out of that place without asking her for a picture and she was too cute to actually step outside for me. Love [beyond life] her head chain thing which I think would not have looked half as cool without the orange hair. I know it's the new trend to be wearing head chains but honestly you are not going to find one as unique, elaborate and beautiful as hers. She found hers at Buffalo Exchange and it is vintage. Jess's real profession is being a musician but she studied photography. I hope she likes the pictures I took of her. Taking pictures of photographers always makes me a bit nervous.

During and after every fashion week this is how I feel. I am going to stop at that note and refrain from saying anything more cause if I start I may not be able to stop. lol. 

Ben and I got kicked out of almost all the shops/ restaurants we tried to shoot at in China town today. If you look very closely in the second picture, there is a wall in the restaurant behind me that is fully covered in dollar bills. That was going to be the location for our shoot today but the stupid dudes working at the restaurant would not budge. It would have been beyond perfect for a shoot with this One Rupee [Indian currency] jumpsuit of mine from Retarded Velvet. No? Oh Well. We still got some serious shit just on the street. It's my Indian-Harakuju-Pimp-on-crack look y'all. It's right on the money! ;)

Walking around the streets of Soho during Fashion Night Out NYC, I walked passed this guy and had to run back to stop him. Wonder why I didn't ask him where he got his jumpsuit from as I can't stop thinking about it and want it so bad! Anyone know?

The Daily News: Fashion Night Out

During Fashion Night Out this season I went to check out my friend Raakhee Mirchandani Singh [The newly appointed fashion editor at the NY Daily News] cohost a styling session at the American Eagle store in Soho. Was just fun to see her in action but better yet, to see her rock the DSM iphone case. It's super encouraging when people I love like my work. SUPER!

Ok so I know it's fashion week and it's all about fashion and this isn't the most fashionable outfit [although not bad at all] I have spotted on the street, but this isn't about fashion. Its about spotting one of my favorite musicians ever on the street!! SIA!! If you don't know her music, you should kill yourself! You really should! I am in heaven. Also because I think apart from me and a few other people outside the Alexander Wang show, not many outside realized who she was and I was dying inside. I had no one to share it with. So I am sharing it with you guys! I hope some of you can understand my uncontrollable excitement! FUCKKKKKKKK !! I love her!!!
