While shopping for a good pair of shoes for any season, the best way to scout the scene is to head to Saks Fifth Ave, Bloomingdale's or Barney's shoe department. All the best designer stuff at your finger tips at once so comparing becomes easy. My one quick trip to Saks Fifth Ave has you the best choices for your spring-summer foot-robe. Here are some of my favorites.

How can it get any better than this flower sandal by Nicholas Kirkwood

Spotted a Fall shoe on the sale rack that I fell in love with.

Colored wedges to go with all the maxi dresses and Khaki shorts by Brian Atwood

YSL Block heels, some with graffitied wedges are fantastic statement pieces.

Colored Metallics to go with any denim

Reed Krakoff to go with any grey/ beige pencil skirt suit for the office

A girl can never have enough Christian Loubutins or Spikes

Gorgeous Valentinos I wish could wear with a red cat suit [if I had the figure]. One black and one white for me please. Just like in the picture. But that's just me. I am a tad eccentric. You can of course wear both the shoes of the same color as intended by the designer.

These gold Guiseppe Zanotis can make any outfit. Such a cool spin off on the classic bow!

Some more glitter by Miu Miu. 

Have to be my favorites of the lot. Now these are the shoes that you should buy first and then buy an outfit around it. And it would totally be worth it cause all of them are such entities by themselves that the world should revolve around them. It's just the way the universe intended it to be. It's plain science.

Finding Spring in the Fall Shows: For Squarekey.com

Hello peoples!

So here is a link to my coverage of the Costello Tagliapietra Fall 2012 show for Squarekey.com. 

Squarekey is an up and coming e-commerce website that will be selling cool International designer stuff to the Indian market. You can find more about it here. The website will be launching officially very soon.

So yeah, the slight lack of posts on DSM are partly cause I am writing for them as well and working on different projects on the side along with my normal full time job as an architect and have parents in town for a month and since I haven't seen them in 1.5 years I am spending as much time with them as possible. Shall be back into the usual groove of things on DSM as soon as parents depart, but until then, things shall be updated as and when I get a moment to breath. Nothing is more important than receiving some unconditional TLC from the family. 

Definitely a lot of cool things going on that I need to update you guys about! Coming soon.
