I agree with you on this one, not just because I like you, but because lot of what you say makes sense. I have a tough time with this, because I love to do totally brave and things that are 'out there' and I am constantly reminded by people who are 'concerned' about me that I will not be accepted in the society if I dye my hair red or get a tattoo. Silly people!

An unfortunate oxymoron- So true!
ReplyDeleteI actually liked both viewpoints and I don't think they really conflict with each other. I think there is a confused middle ground of people trying to be different for the sake of being different, not because it's who they are, but in a way that just makes them as generic as following the herd.
