Life is Beautiful: Personal Fashion

Images by NURBS

Shirt: Urban Outfitters; Harem pants: All Saints; Hat: Kelly Kristy; Shoes: Kenneth Cole

Saturday was the Cricket World Cup finals and I, along with many many other Indians in New York, went to a bar very early in the morning [the match started at 5am EST] to watch the India vs Sri Lanka match. After a lot of nail biting and neck to neck competition I am ecstatic to announce that INDIA WON the freaking WORLD CUP!!! You cannot imagine the excitement every Indian is feeling right now, but just to give you an idea, India has a really good cricket team, almost every Indian is obsessed beyond religion with this game, the World Cup happens every 4 years and India finally won AFTER 28 FREAKING YEARS!!! As soon as the match got over, my Pappa [Dad] called me from India just to share the excitement. My pappa NEVER GETS EXCITED!! Every Indian was on the streets celebrating after the match. I saw pictures of Mumbai streets, London Streets, Jersey City and NYC street pictures. All too good to be true!! Oh what a day in history!!

Ok I will stop with the exclamations, but I can’t write about my clothes right now. It’s too important to keep thinking about our victory!!

  1. Hahaha totally girl! I called my dad up and both mom-dad were out on the streets like everyone else and they were like, "Car ek inch pan move nathi thati. There's so much traffic!"! Daanng! How I miss it! :)

In any case, love the seventh shot--it sums up what I like in the outfit! ;)

Glad you enjoyed the cricket and got high on national pride, sounds wonderful.

Incidentally, I don't know if this was your intention but I can no longer reach your blog just by clicking to your profile. Your profile gives no link to your blog at all, it just states the blog title, so I had to google you :P
