Mr. Jobs

Of course the entire world is mourning the passing of Steve Jobs and I am no different. But I have to post a few of his inspiring words as I relate to them so deeply and  feel should be the philosophy of everyone's life. Everytime we doubt our choices, weather it's work, family or relationships, this is what we need to remember to help us do the right thing. There is a lot of wisdom out there we can use without making our own mistakes. His life is proof enough.

Sometimes life hits you in the head with a brick. Don't lose faith. I'm convinced that the only thing that kept me going was that I loved what I did. You've got to find what you love. And that is as true for your work as it is for your lovers. Your work is going to fill a large part of your life, and the only way to be truly satisfied is to do what you believe is great work. And the only way to do great work is to love what you do. If you haven't found it yet, keep looking. Don't settle. As with all matters of the heart, you'll know when you find it. And, like any great relationship, it just gets better and better as the years roll on. So keep looking until you find it. Don't settle.

  1. I was at the gym last night when I noticed everyone watching the television, not working out, just standing there, staring. I had just left a yoga class so I didn't know what was going on. Then I looked at the television to see the news of Mr Jobs death. Shocking, stunning even if expected. Indeed a man of passion, vision and inspiration. We all watched for a few moments and slowly returned to working out, different.
