Only In NYC

Its one thing to go find exciting things to do in a place and another when exciting things just keep happening all around you. NYC is one of the very few awesome places in the world where the wildest things “WILL” happen on a regular basis. Apart from the fact that we spotted this ultra cute kid with his fun outfit, the Stormtroopers from Star Wars in the background just made the entire shoot so cool. S could not even control herself. She kept clicking and clicking and I kept jumping up and down screaming, “that is so cool, that is so cool”.  I’m quite a monkey that way.

Orson’s [the kid] outfit could not have been more apt for the moment. Loved the colors, especially pink, on a guy his age [I’m guessing early teens] was totally appropriate. And the piano belt, how cute is that! He even asked for permission from his mom/ sister/ some older woman he was with if he could do the shoot… I love good kids. So hard to find nowadays. All in all, the pink, the piano and the Stormtroopers all made for a fantastic fantasy episode.

  4. OMG!!! This was my favourite moment while shooting on the streets of NY, the funniest part was that I was so focused on shooting our little handsome upstater, with the storm troopers in the background. They came right up to Orson, and click, I snapped the ideal image: Image no 2. He looked back not expecting his day to pan out this way. The Troopers, found themselves not being follwed by my camera started to walk away, as I kept clicking Orson! I look back at my pictures, there is a take where one can see through a plastic mask an expression of dissapointment in the Troopers stance. Hahaha, wow, what a crazy world.
