The Dog Days are Over: Personal Fashion

Images by Jackie Russo

Shorts: Alexander Wang; Striped Tee: Club Monaco; Blue tee: Versace for H&M; Shoes: Irregular Choices

This weekend has been one of those where you didn't expect anything to happen, but a lot ends up happening and after it's done you think to yourself, "Damn, I did not see that coming". hehe.. In a good way.

I love these A.Wang shorts. Wear them everywhere. And my striped hole-ly tee is proving to be my favorite layer in the winter. The tee is one of my grabs from the Versace for H&M collections. Although from the men's section. I liked it better.

Watched a movie called "House of Pleasure" today. Pretty intense I have to say. Has me wondering about the vulnerability of the human heart that will never stop wanting to fall in love and the horror that some psychotic minds can inflict on themselves and others. Either ways anything that gets me thinking is worth it I say.

Hope you had a great weekend too lovers.

Harakujua and The Bunny: Personal Fashion

Kaftan [actually nightwear made in Pakistan]: Thrifted; B/W Tee: Club Monaco; Shoes: Irregular Choices; Hair Clips: H&M; Blinged iPhone cover: Irregular Choices

So this is how I image Japanese [Harakuju] street fashion would look like in New York. I know the colors are summer-y but I don't really care to be ombre in the winter either. So this is what I plan on wearing on the weekends in my winter here. I utterly love this outfit!!! It's soo comfy and me.

Introducing yet another talented photographer Jackie. She's an NYU student and you can check out more of her cool work here.

In a Sea of Too many Strings Attached, Stagnant: Personal Fashion

Images by NURBS

Top: Club Monaco; Necklace: Bosquejo

Trying mixed geometry. Wrapped some black and white material as a sari over one of my favorite tees that got ruined in a laundry experience. It still fits, except it has 20 holes in it. Shot this incredible shoot at an art exhibition and the installation [produced by none other than our very own Shraddha Borawake] with tons of industrial waste yarn as a lounging area was the crowd favorite. I love how the pools of yarn create art in so many different forms: color, space, texture, volume and experience.

The razor necklace is one of my favorites, tracked down all the way from the Philippines ☺. I love when I find something perfect to add to my wardrobe. Even if it means a lot of internet searching before I find the source..lol…your welcome.

People who follow DSM on facebook and twitter may already know how obsessed I am with these Sally Hansen nail art things. I have them in all different designs and highly recommend them. So easy to use and found at any drug store.

I want to sincerely thank NURBS for all his fantastic work, talent and friendship over the past year while shooting for DSM. I am utterly humbled by your support to help me make my dreams come true through this blog. Good luck in Hong Kong my friend. Will miss you crazy!!
