NYFW Runway Archive on DSM Facebook

So I have been updating Don't Shoe Me's Facebook page with a ton of photo albums of the past NY Fashion Week shows. Creating an Archive of images as I don't end up posting or using all the images on the blog. Facebook is a great way for me to keep my archives. Which are not even 1/2 complete yet, but I still have a bunch and will keep updating from time to time with runway and backstage etc images from each show. So go check it out in the photos of the DSM facebook page. The album name tells you which show and what year it is. These are all original images taken by me or my team. Enjoy!

One of my favorite Fall shows at NYFW. The space, presentation, clothes and the show were very well done IMHO. I can't wait to see what Helmut Lang comes up with as a visual artist.

Two very cool colored braid looks. First one spotted at the Helmut Lang show and the other at the tents during NYFW. I love the idea and want to try it out. What do you guys think? Maybe for my next shoot?

Faceless Ghosts: Personal Fashion

Shooting with NURBS, we spotted this cool art on a door and were contemplating if we should use it as a backdrop.

ME: Oh I love it, can we use it please?

NURBS: Really?

Me: Why not? It’s beautiful. 3 women in abstract. And I love the colors

NURBS: They don’t have faces. They are ghosts!! And you don’t really know if they are women ghosts either. Anyone can dress up like women.

I won. But I wonder if the ghosts will haunt NURBS tonight? Lol.

Side Note: NURBS is a very simple, shy, conservative, Indian IT professional. I apparently *shock* him every time he comes to shoot me. hehe. I feel like I am kinda rubbing off on him with this comment.

I have this thing for draping. Probably cause it fits my curves better. Loving the cool asymmetrical drapes on this Helmut Lang dress on Anastasia. Plus the perfect green nail polish to go with it.
