Dissolved: Personal Fashion

Images by Hrishikesh Vimadalal

Normally I always list the source of my outfits on my posts but this time I can't. I bought this dress from a local designer's market in Williamsburg and wore it for the shoot. Excited as hell because I really love the dress. Except it rained really hard during our shoot and along with each layer of makeup that washed away from my face so did this dress. I literally feel like my dress melted in the rain. The quality of the dress was atrocious and it ripped at multiple places so I can't really wear the outfit again. I still enjoyed getting totally drenched in the rain but this is why, even though I love supporting local designers, it's kinda hard to keep the faith as their creative ideas are amazing but execution extremely questionable. I have had this happen to me on multiple occasions with other things I have bought from local designers that look fabulous but break or rip in no time and they still cost quite a bit. Need to source good quality talent in and around the world. If you guys know any please send me a link to their work.

Besides that life is pretty awesome right now. Good things are happening and I feel like I am growing up. It's fun!
